After a year-long wait your favorite Russian Mogul Roman Abramovich took delivery of the world’s largest and most expensive yacht, The Eclipse , just in time for his big New Year’s Eve bash in St. Barths starring the Black Eyed Peas.
Depending on which news sources you believe The Eclipse, measures between 533 ft. to 557 ft. and costs between $500 million – $1 billion, again and an estimated $50 million a year to maintain.
Each fill up at the gas tanks costs $650,000.
Built by Germany’s Blohm + Voss, The Eclipse has luxe accommodations for 30 guests and 75 crew members with three helipads, two swimming pools and a fitness center.
And just in case any wannabe Pirates try a jack move on the high seas, The Eclipse also has a military-grade missile defense system with armor plating and bulletproof windows. The yacht is even supposed to be “paparazzi proof” with a special electronic shield.
